After Greenlee is struck with the grim reality that she has miscarried, she asks Dr. Madden if he knows if there are any other samples of Ryan's at his clinic that she can use to try again. Hearing their conversation, Jack enters and tells his daughter she cannot be serious to want to have Ryan's child again. Dr. Madden asks to talk to Greenlee alone. He replies that he does know for a fact that there are more of RYan's samples at his clinic. But there is another problem. She tells him that she promises to be a good expectant mother, do whatever he says and stay stress-free during the pregnancy. But he tells her it's not as simple as that. She tells him she knows that many women have miscarriage and try again and carry future pregnancies to term. He tells her that can happen when there is no known cause for a miscarriage. But in her case there is. At first she wants to believe that he wnats to prevent her from getting pregnant because he's been listening to Jacks' attitude about Ryan. But he assures her he doesn't care of her father disapproves of what she wants to do and would give anything to help her if he could. But he's done tests that confirm that she cannot carry any other pregnancy ever again. Hearing that, she is very upset.

Kendall discovers that Zach is agreeing to help Julia Santos escape whoever she needs protection from without sending her back to the witness protection program. She tells him he cannot put his life on the line for this woman. She obviously does not care for Julia. And Julia does not care for Kendall. Kendall reminds her husband if he puts himself in danger, she is also in danger. ANd she tells him she's had enough deaths to deal with for one lifetime. She is ready to turn Julia into the FBI. But Zach tells her he will not betray Julia. That is the least he owes Maria. ALthough Julia has developed trust in Zach, when she hears his conversation with Kendall, she panics and flees. ANd Zach goes to find her before she takes off on a bus.

Babe tells JR that she and Jamie "surrender" to him. SHe has broken up with him. And that means that JR must turn over Phoebe's money to Jamie and enable him to go to med school. But JR smugly informs Babe that Phoebe's conditions for Jamie to inherit the money is not if Babe breaks up with him for no apparent reason. In order for Jamie to inherit, he needs to come to the realization, on his own that Babe is trash and willfully break up with her.

Tad tells Dixie that he smells a rat. He tells her it's more than coincidental that the brakes in her car failed and almost got her killed last night. And no more than a week ago, bank robbers show up out of nowhere when she went to the bank. He rememebers that although he offered himself as a hostage, they weren't after him. They almost killed her instead. And he remembers when she was first sprung from the slammer, somebody tried to mow her down in their car. He tells her that there's no way that it could just be a "fluke". She assures him she is in no danger. But she privately gets on the phone to reveal she has some "secret" going on with somebody. She tells them that she will only cover for them if they promise to keep her family out of danger. If they endanger anybody she cares for, she will get them in trouble.
