Zach tells Julia that he knows she did not come to Wild wind in order to hide. She came there to find the guy who killed her husband, Noah, pull the trigger, and get her life back. She admits to him that the main goal she has is to have the life of Julia Santos Kiefer.

After Babe has propositioned him, Josh asks her why she’d do such a thing. Is this a joke? Is there some sort of bet?

Kendall goes to see Greenlee to inform her that there is a way that she can have Ryan’s baby.
After Erin has revealed to Ryan that she knows who he is and what he’s up to, he asks her how she found out. She tells him that when she saw the buzz cut hair, dark glasses and hat when he was in the restaurant, it threw her for about 5 seconds. He asks her why she behaved as though he was a total stranger. She tells him that was because as far as she is concerned he is a stranger. He tells her he is her brother. She tells him he must get over himself because he is nothing to her. He asks her to talk to him. She tells him they did that and asks if he was clear. He asks her what is going on. She tells him that at work she just played her role as the waitress hoping and assuming he’d just drink his cappuccino and go away. She tells him he may go away just like he did when she was 4. And she will never have to see him again. She tells him that that “boy” who left was not her brother. The only brother she had was Jonathan. He stayed with her and did not abandon her. And Ryan killed him.

While Greenlee is in her hospital room with Simone, David enters. Greenlee tells him that pretending to be nice and offer condolences won’t work. She tells him the only thing that will make it better for her is if she can have Ryan’s child. And she cannot.

Outside, Dr. Madden tells Kendall that it all depends on how far Greenlee is willing to go in order to have the baby.

Josh admits to Babe that since he breaths has a pulse and is heterosexual, of course he is attracted to her. But he knows that she is committed to Jamie. He asks her what is going on. She does not tell him. She reveals to him that she wants to “set up” having Jamie catch her sleeping with Josh. He asks her why she’d want to do that. Did she and Jamie have a fight? Did they break up? Right before she can say more, Erica enters and catches them together. She demands to know what this piece of trash (Babe) is doing in her office.

Julia tells Zach that she plans to find the person who killed Noah. He asks who this person is. She admits she knows nothing about the murderer. If she so much as knew his name, he’d be dead now. Right then Zach’s phone rings. It’s Kendall. She tells him she needs to talk to him about something unexpected that came up. He tells her later. She tells him he mustn’t talk to her like she’s some cocktail waitress at his casino. This cannot wait. But he hangs up on her. He then, tells Julia that she cannot go anywhere. He tells her she must let him help her if she wants her life back and be able to avenge Noah. She asks him what her other choice is. He tells her if she runs off on her own, she will end up like Noah. He then tells her she must consider what would happen if the other guy wins. She says she remembers Noah getting that same warning. She tells him that she does not believe they even tried to arrest the people who were after Noah. He promised her he’d be ok and had never before broken a promise to her.

In Greenlee’s hospital room, Simone leaves Greenlee alone with David. She is very depressed and not talking. He suggests that the shrink she saw a while back should see her. But she tells him she does not need a shrink because it cannot bring her baby back. Ethan then comes to see Simone. She tells him she hates the fact that she cannot do anything to help Greenlee. Ethan encourages Simone to keep trying and give it time. Kendall however, knows that there might be something that nobody has thought of that can help Greenlee. But right then, she runs off saying: “I cannot do it”. Nobody knows what she is talking about. COULD IT BE THAT DR. MADDEN TOLD KENDALL SHE COULD POSSIBLY CARRY GREENLEE’S EGG??

Ryan tells Erin that he so did not intend to kill Jonathan. And she must realize that Jonathan hurt a lot of people. He thought Jonathan killed her. He sees that she is happy and she has made it. That is all that matters to him. She is his sister and he loves her he tells her. She looks at him with a blank stare.

Noticing that Babe is in her office, Erica asks Josh if this is a test to see how far he can push her. She asks if perhaps Josh invited this kidnapper over here to tell her he will testify for JR and admit to the police that he saw her assault JR. Babe informs Erica that Josh did not ask her to come there. It was her idea. Erica tells Josh if Babe is not out of her office on the count of 3, she will fire him. Babe leaves and Erica tells Josh that she’s made her feelings about Babe Carey very clear and wonders why he cannot honor that. He tells her he is not trying to piss her off. She warns him that she is very close to making him clean out his desk.

Julia tells Zach that Noah did not intend to “whack” the guy himself. He just wanted to investigate what was going on. Zach admits that if only she had been informed what was going on, things might never have turned out the way they did.

Greenlee tells David there is a dead lump that is where her heart was. It’s dead. She asks him, since he is a cardiologist, how that can be? Alone in the elevator, Kendall hears and remembers all that has happened since Ryan’s death and how Greenlee wants and needs a baby. And she tells Ryan that he did a terrible thing to leave Greenlee and refuse to give her a baby. She tells Ryan that he mistakenly thought he “saved” Greenlee. But he destroyed her.

Ryan observes that Erin has newspapers from Pine Valley. She admits that she read all about how Ryan supposedly died by going off a cliff. But the joke is on her. He’s alive and well. He tells her he has no clue how he survived. She tells him it’s no surprise to her. He always knows how to save himself. But she wishes he were dead just like her real brothers are.

Kendall remembers hearing Ryan tell her if she cares for him and for Greenlee, then she will keep her mouth shut about his vasectomy. Then Greenlee confirmed that she loved Kendall. She then tells Ryan it’s HIS responsibility. He chose to leave Greenlee and deny her a baby. But she tells him she knows if she does not “DO THIS” who will? She says: "Damn you, Ryan. You left me with this RESPONSIBILITY!" That must mean she is having second thoughts about being the “gestational host” for Greenlee but feels compelled to do it.

Erin remembers one day when daddy was wailing on Jonathan, he told their father that one day Ryan will come back and make him pay. She tells him that Jonathan was too loving and too trusting and made the mistake of trusting the wrong person. She reminds him that Jonathan should not have come to Pine Valley to find Ryan. Ryan asks her if she was in contact with Jonathan while he was in Pine Valley. She says Jonathan told her that he was so afraid that he disappointed Ryan. Ryan asks her if Jonathan did not inform her that he hated Ryan’s wife. She says all she knew was Jonathan’s desperate need to prove himself to Ryan and how daddy emotionally damaged him and all.

Josh tells Erica that he understands she is angry with Babe. But he’s had a different experience with her than she has. He tells her he would not intentionally defy her. He likes and admires and respects her too much to do that. But he cannot work for somebody who does not respect him. She says she cannot believe this. First she threatens to fire him. Then he threatens to quit. She tells him of course she respects him but right now he is infuriating her. She tells him he cannot ever invite that woman into her office again. She admits that she cannot expect him to hate all the people she hates. She does not plan to fire him right now, right before her big premier. He asks her what about afterwards. She tells him there are no guarantees in life. He tells her he likes it there. She says in that case it’s settled. She admits to him that she realizes that his personal life is out of bounds. But if it were not, she will strongly urge him to stay as far away from Babe Carey as possible. He informs her that since he’s completed all his work for the day, he will take a late lunch. And he leaves.

Julia admits to Zach that the feds asked her what Noah was up to and she did not tell them anything. She tells him that Noah mistakenly thought he was protecting her by not telling her the ringleader’s name. But she’s going to track it down and make them pay. Zach tells her he cannot let her do that. She tells him he cannot stop her. He tells her she must realize this is not what Noah would want. He tells her in order to find out who killed Noah, she must first know who they are and what their weaknesses are. And she needs a partner that will cover her back. And that will have to be him. She tells him he’s nothing more than her sister’s ex. He tells her she has no choice.

Josh comes to Babe’s home. She tells him that she doesn’t want to be responsible for Erica firing him. He tells her she may relax. He and Erica talked and agreed that his personal life is none of Erica’s business. But he asks Babe what is going on. He tells her he remembers her telling him there would be no wedding because Jamie was selling his car. Is that still the case, he asks her?. She confirms that yes, the wedding is off. He asks if she is propositioning him because she’s alone and needs some comfort. She confirms that she wants Jamie to catch them in the act of sex. Right then, Jamie walks in and asks what is going on.

Erin says she knows all too well when Ryan ran away on his motorcycle. She tells him all he cared about was getting out of Daddy’s and saving himself. She tells him he can get back on his motorcycle and they can continue being dead to each other.

Simone and Ethan ask Kendall what her “big secret” is. She cannot answer. But they tell her that Greenlee is not responding. Simone urges Kendall to “work her magic” in doing whatever she needs to do in order to get Greenlee back. Kendall walks into Greenlee’s room and informs her that there is a way that she can help her have Ryan’s baby.

Erin dismisses Ryan from her home telling him she will never forgive him nor let him make up for what he failed. Right then, she goes to her closet and uncovers somebody hiding behind a locked door. She tells the person that "He was here. He's gone. He won't be able to get to you."
