Amanda admits to Babe that she has motives for wanting to “help” her get Jamie to break up with her. Amanda wants Jamie for herself. Babe tells her that is not very cool and she does not trust her. But Amanda tells Babe that Jamie can do whatever he wants if he is a free agent, especially when Babe, herself chooses to set him free. Babe tells Amanda that she does not believe that Jamie wants Amanda and is concerned that nothing and nobody ever hurts the man she loves. But she affirms that once Jamie is no longer hers, she cannot control what he does with anybody else.
Zach is obsessing about helping Julia. But she tells him she wants him to leave her alone and let her do it her way. She reminds him that since Kendall doesn’t want him getting involved in her situation, maybe he should back off anyway. Kendall lets Zach know that she does not like him putting himself in danger because of Julia. She does not tell him about her new plan with Greenlee. But he can sense that she has something on her mind. She does not tell him. JR comes to see her and discovers she has a baby book. He asks her if she would be crazy enough to consider having a baby with Zach. She doesn’t know what to tell him.

Sam goes to see Lily. She says she doesn't want to see him. She says they are not friends because friends trust eachother. He did not trust her when she told him that Zach is not a bad guy. And when she brought up ghosts, he got angry and gave her a similar tone as the "hot girls". He apologizes. He admits that he is angry, but not at her. IT's his father for dying and leaving him. They talk about how death affects people. And she concludes that they can be friends.

Although Erin has told Ryan to leave her alone and he’s asked her not to tell anybody that he is still alive, he is obsessed about “intervening” in her life. He notices a bruise on her hand and assumes she must be seeing some dude who beats her. She explains to him that he doesn’t know what he is talking about. He demands to know the name of the person who is responsible for her bruise. She gives him the name and explains that it happened when this guy saved her life. She climbed a ladder at work and almost fell. The guy caught her and she got a bruise. Ryan assumes she is lying and doing the same thing their mother did. When Erin goes out, Ryan sneaks into her home, goes through her stuff and finds that mysterious locked room in her closet, where she keeps the “secret person” whom she says she is protecting from him.
