All My Children Update for Thursday, 18-Aug-2005

It looks like the plans are in motion for Babe and Josh to have Jamie catch them in the act of gettin' it on and dumping Babe. Amanda is there to help. After Jamie has planned a "romantic evening" with her, he finds out that she cannot be with him. She has already cancelled her shift at work. But it's not to be with him. AManda comes by. Jamie lies to Amanda, telling her he knows that Babe is visiting her mother. But she already knows that Babe is with Josh. Jamie goes and catches them in bed together.

Meanwhile, Krystal is trying to get David to help her prevent their daughter from ruining her life. But David says it's the fault of JR and Phoebe Wallingford that Jamie has to dump Babe in order to get the money and go to med school. He says he doesn't plan on revealing Dixie's secret as Krystal wants him to. ANd he tells her it's fine with him if his daughter breaks up with Jamie. And right when David has confirmed that he will not help Krystal, Adam is right behind her with some goons who knock David out. But Adam reminds her that they still have not unravelled Dixie's secret.

Tad is obsessed about uncovering Dixie's secret and in protecting her from whatever may be out there to kill her. But he denies that he still has feelings for her. AIden does not buy that and tells him he needs to give that a rest. He goes and talks to her. They argue and confirm that they are done with each other. But they end up kissing.
