Dixie tells Dell, sounding like she’s making up a story, that she got some flowers sent to her by a cellmate. She does not want him to believe that they were sent by Kevin. He does not buy her story and makes an indirect threat to write an Expose’ in his book about Kevin Sturgis. But she tells him he’d better not.

Ryan tells Jonathan that he knows he changed right when he pulled the trigger that shot his brother. He realized that he was Patrick Lavery. Jonathan tells him no. That’s not true. He’s Ryan. He’s the “good one”. But Ryan admits to his brother that he started having violent rages throughout that time. He went to the fight club and got involved in violent combat, almost strangled David Hayward and almost beat Greenlee, when she was trying to help him. But right then, he remembered that he promised that if he hurt somebody he loved, he’d end his own life. And that’s what he did. He admits to Jonathan that he was so wrong to think he was better than him or that he could save the world. And he now knows that he needs to be saved as much as Jonathan does. Erin listens to them. And Jonathan lets go of the activator to the explosives. He asks if it is true that he is not the only bad one. Ryan tells him he is not “bad”. He has been hurt. He’s been damaged. He admits to Jonathan that he let him down. He needs Jonathan to reach out to him and help him. He asks Jonathan to do it for him. Jonathan cries and then reaches down to disconnect the explosives. Ryan holds Jonathan in his arms.

After Kendall tells Zach what she’s found out from Lily about his asking her not to tell anybody that she saw Ryan’s “ghost”, he asks her why she assumes he’d do that. Does she believe that he is keeping Ryan dead when he is alive? Is it simply “payback” time because he’s giving his attention to another woman. He then talks about how Ryan’s death has affected somebody else worse than her.

Greenlee goes outside and runs into Babe. She tells Greenlee that she has given up on her love for Jamie or he has given up on her. Hearing that, and knowing what she’s just heard and feared about Ryan, Greenlee tells Babe you do not give up on your love for somebody. If you really love them, you never give up.

Tad and Dixie go to an abandoned building and light candles. She discovers that they are locked in. He tells her that he has brought her there because he wants to talk to her and have her bring out an “old friend”. She asks what old friend. He tells her Di Kirby.

Julia is in Tad’s house alone and notices somebody attempting to unlock the door. Sam enters and she almost injures him. She tells him she could have made him her “late nephew”. He tells her that he wishes he could take on the guy who killed his dad and all the people who have wronged him and the people he loves. But he knows it’s too late to undo what has already happened. It is not too late, however, to help her, he tells her. And he asks her if she can give him the chance to fight for his family.

Zach tells Kendall that she cannot make these accusations about him. She gets very upset knowing that he must be keeping a secret from her about Ryan.

Jonathan tells Ryan that he wants to see the doctors that he’s found. He wants to get well. He wants this pain and these voices to go away. Ryan tells his brother that he will keep his promise to him. And the three of them huddle together.

After hearing Tad’s inquiry about Di Kirby, Dixie tells him that that was just a name that she gave herself while in prison and while hiding. She tells him that she knows he has this “thing” about Kevin because he’s jealous. But Tad tells her that he can see that she has some sort of unfinished business involving Kevin. He can sense it every time Kevin’s name is brought up. She tells him she has one thing to say about “unfinished business”. It’s unfinished for him. But not for her.

Babe remembers Greenlee telling her that if you love someone you do not give up for one minute. And right then, Jamie appears.

Dixie tells Tad that she needs him to unlock the door. She wants to go home. He tells her that he’s worried about somebody’s life in danger. And he needs to help them.

Julia agrees to let Sam stay. He tells her he will go and get them some food. She tells Samhe is a great guy and his dad would be very proud of him.

Kendall goes to Greenlee’s and Greenlee tells her she must assure her that the “rumor” is not true.

Zach calls Ryan. Erin takes the call for Ryan. Ryan asks Zach what he wants. Zach informs Ryan that there is a “rumor” going around town that he is not dead. And he might want to be concerned about it.
