I think his messaging has not been great about inflation - I get that he wants to acknowledge he's done things that helped the economy, and also acknowledge much about inflation was out of his control, but messaging about the bestest economy ever when peoples' grocery prices jumped way up and housing is out of control is just not the best...message. But that's a messaging thing, not a policy thing. I don't think there's much he could have actually done about inflation that he didn't do or at least try to do.
But his response to Palestine has been bad. He should know better than to think it's a good idea to remain publicly quiet in the probably vain hope that he can influence Netanyahu when what is happening is so appalling. Very few Muslim American leaders will even consent to meet with him at this point, and I don't know how to turn that around. My hope is that somehow, people will remember how dangerous Trump is sometime between now and November.
