Judge Aileen Cannon ruled that Jack Smith’s appointment as special counsel was not legal, despite decades of precedent to the contrary. Stay tuned for the appeal.

Isn’t it odd that Trump’s lawyers didn’t raise the same objection against Smith’s appointment in the DC Jan. 6 case? Could it be because Trump doesn’t own that judge? Hmm.
