The Democrats aren't inspiring their base at ALL. The leaders, by and large, aren't giving any indication they understand the seriousness of this moment. I'm sure a lot of people are thinking "What does it even matter if they have more power, when they don't use the limited power they have right now?" I don't necessarily AGREE and I will vote because I always do, but I am increasingly alarmed that Dems are simply not up to the challenge. If Schumer can't fight for us, he needs to step down so someone who will can take over. Chris Murphy seems like a solid choice, just saying.
