This time, there were some sweaters that will be good for winter. Out of curiosity, I counted...to date, I've added 26 items of clothing to my wardrobe, plus a pair of earrings. Three ponchos/ruanas, a pair of leggings, a pair of nice pants, a suit jacket, a moto jacket and everything else is either a top or a sweater. And that's just what I kept. I had to pass on a beautiful royal blue cashmere sweater recently because it's just too big on me (my store manager would let me hear it if I came in wearing ill-fitting clothes, no matter how comfortable I am) but I think my good church friend will love it.

I'm actually feeling a wee bit guilty receiving all these lovely clothes (and a few pieces I find...less lovely, but they look OK on me and will work as a "uniform" when I work my shifts), even though these ladies have long brought in things they no longer want. Last week, I took in peanut butter candy and then brought in some sweet tea for SM who hates peanut butter but can't get enough sweet tea.

"M" (the spunky 84 year old) says she's done cleaning out her closet but "B" (big grandma energy) is still occasionally gifting me items she no longer wants. A few weeks ago, a woman came in and told me she'd been the store manager prior to our current SM. She said she'd bring in a couple bags of clothes "some time"...and she's also my size. I need absolutely NOTHING right now (unless someone has some nice work shoes, size 10W, that they want to get rid of) but I'm still kind of hoping "G" brings in her old clothes, mainly because I'm just curious to see what she has.

ETA--I didn't think it was possible but I'm running out of hangers!
