It's Cleveland Pizza Week 😁
This is the third or fourth year the city has designated a week in November "Pizza Week". They also have a Burger Week and a Taco Week...I missed both of those this year. Anyways, almost 40 restaurants are participating this week, each offering a pizza of their choosing for $9. Some feature a favorite pizza, some a pizza created especially for the week and some allow you to pick your own topping(s). Some places are open for lunch and dinner, some only for lunch. Some let you take the pizza home, others make you eat your $9 pizza in the restaurant.
I'm going...somewhere today to pick up a pizza for lunch. I will probably also get a pizza on Friday and then again on Sunday. Still not sure where I'll go and which pizzas I'll get; I've "narrowed" the list down to 13 places, basing my choices mostly on the pizza offered, the location of the restaurant and when they're open. I'm also waiting to hear back from a friend in town who wants to meet for a meal (along with several other friends). She has celiac disease though, so no pizza for her.
