needing a man to be happy. Also, Sam taking a chance on Iceland was counter-balanced by Tricia being happier and happier in her newfound independence, post-divorce. I cried during Sam and Tricia’s scene about forgetting Holly’s birthday. I feel better about Joel and Brad since Joel started to speak up about what he wants/needs and Brad started to push out of his own kinda rigid comfort zone to become more flexible in their relationship.
Since this was such a slice-of-life show, I’m glad they didn’t try to tie anything up too neatly.
I just want another season. :o/
I wish there was going to be another season too. I’m under the impression that the creative team would have done another season and that it was HBO’s decision to end it. I’m definitely going to be on the lookout for an opportunity to see Bridget Everett live now that she’s on my radar.
