Much of the world isn't into Jack Black, though... I do love Richard Linklater, the director, so that's most of why I've seen it.

It also has Joan Cusack, so that's fun.

Anyway, he both wrote that one and he's in it. He also wrote for Freaks & Greeks and Dawson's Creek back in the day.

Not only did I not know that, but I don’t know exactly what you mean. What was his idea?

the 26 day version of the game rather than the 39 day version. The current version of the show is generally referred to as "the new era" and that's what is primarily meant by it.

I have no clue what you’re talking about here, LOL! I love Survivor in the moment but after a season is over, I retain very little about past seasons.

Ok, well.. look up the guy who won David v. Goliath and you'll see why I don't want to get into it on this board ;)

I do remember that a couple of his Survivor tribemates made cameo appearances in S2. And I thought that was fun. But I no longer remember which tribemates. LOL. I have the polar opposite of an encyclopedic memory of Survivor.

Ha! Honestly, I only remember Angelina who was SO memorable on that season because she was so shameless. She asked the person who had just been voted out to give her her jacket, for instance. She negotiated with Jeff for more rice in a very bold way. She was just constantly pushing and it was honestly pretty funny.
