I haven’t had a car in decades because, as you said, it’s a PITA to have one in the city. But once upon a time, many moons ago, I owned a car and drove it all over the US for a 3-month cross country trip. Lately, I’ve been missing having a car. As you said, Uber has definitely gotten more expensive. But if I don’t overdue Uber use, it’s still cheaper than a car payment, insurance, maintenance, major repairs, parking, etc. Having a place to keep it outside of the city sounds like a good plan.
