Yeah, prices have been going up steadily since COVID as it was.

There's really not a ton of point in having a car in Toronto, and before the pandemic I'd rent cars or do ride share, like I said, but the prices have skyrocketed and my mom also needs a car, so here we are. We lucked out by being able to do a private sale because I do think prices in general are about to go up -- and probably so are the prices for parts, so I want to really be on the preventative care tip.
