For an aging car -- not even "asian over American" but Honda or Toyota, full stop.

It DOES have a lot of miles on it, but I hope we can get five years with preventative care.

They also retain their value pretty well. apparently Honda civics are the only cars where you don't lose that much just driving off the lot.
