Though, not knowing the future, maybe now is way better than later. We literally can't know. I'll cross fingers for you finding a good deal.

Post-pandemic my work computer is now a laptop with a docking station at the office -- and my home computer is also a laptop. but one is a mac and one is a PC. And I have put off finding out what I need to do so that they can both use the docking station.
