The Good
NLG gave a Tour de France performance today. I thought the initial scenes were a bit much but she killed it (no pun intended) during Sam's hospital scenes. KM was there of course but NLG had several scenes where she delivered a monologue. Alexis has irked me for months, but NLG deserves all the kudos for what brought to life today. And kudos to the director as well.

She was so good that it was hard to watch. When she got to the part about parents shouldn’t have to bury their children, I lost it. 😢

It was hard to watch but at the same time, I couldn't turn away!

I also liked Elizabeth comforting Alexis.

Well I’m just glad someone was there to do it! As I just said elsewhere, I hope Molly and Kristina die of shame for their absence.

These hack writers.

The Bad
Mikey literally standing there in judgment of his wife for kissing his uncle--knowing fool well he just played hide the salami with Sasha was truly a new low. And then to have sex with her on the couch was the cherry on the top. He stood there and watched her thisclose to groveling. A true man who loved his wife and who just had sex with another woman--would have gone a bit easier and not had such a chip on their shoulder. He's a meal-mouth, momma's boy, little bitch baby!

I didn’t think he was hard on her at all. He basically forgave her when he knew she was lying to his face. I mean, we know she isn’t forgiven, but she doesn’t. And no, it isn’t lost on me that he’s not being honest either. But as far as his treatment of Willow went, I thought he was fine.

Letting her go on and on is being hard on her in my opinion. A real man/spouse would at least dial back the attitude. Willow isn't being forthcoming about the second kiss months ago and this fool was just sexing up another woman hours ago--and has an attitude!

The Ugly
Jason even being there today when the list is long of characters who would have made way more sense: Diane, Molly, Krustina, Dante! And then a stupid montage. For what? You haven't been together in what a decade? Fuq your crocodile tears for a woman you allowed to think you were dead, as she raised your child for three years.

Jason was there to intro and facilitate the montage, which I loved. They were each other’s everything for most of Sam’s tenure on the show, so it made perfect sense to me. There is still plenty of time for Dante and the rest of Sam’s loved ones to express their feelings and grieve together.

I don't agree with that. See above.

I hate Drew and Cody and that hasn't changed. Cody isn't a stand up guy. Don't care how badly Drew needed to be punched and he did--Cody should not have been the one to do it. The entire reason for it is beyond contrived. And then today, the son of a bitch is still angry. For what? Until kissing Willow, Drew really hadn't been an @$$hole. You know what would have been better? Drew approached Cody and asked "Hey friend. I hope I can count on your vote." And then Cody slugged him. At least that way, Cody was minding his own business and then here comes Drew, smiling and asking him for something. And even if most of what Cody said about Drew was true--he proved that he hasn't changed or grown. He is still the same opportunist he was when he came to town two years ago. How do I know this? Because if Cody had grown at all, he would have turned down Drew's bribe. He didn't. He asked for $100,000 and was marked down to $50,000 which is $49,900 more than he's worth. That was the moment for Cody to stand on his principles, instead he showed that he has little integrity.

So, fine to offer a bribe but not to accept one? Hmm. I was hoping Cody would demand the money to buy Serenity. Drew got off easy, lol.

You're making an assumption here and you are mistaken. Prior to swapping spit with Willow, what bad thing has Drew done--intentionally? Nothing springs to mind, so I'll be curious to see what answer you give here.

It's not fine to offer a bribe. Cody didn't have to take it. He should have been insulted because he's a new man right? He turned over a new leaf. Well the tree from the leaf has dry-rot. That is my issue with Cody here. He's condemning Drew for being wealthy and pretending to be a nice guy, but who kissed his nephew's wife--twice. Big whoop. Cody came to town as a lying, con-man, opportunist.

Britt - Lied to her and romanced her with an ulterior motive--to get intel on her father and the necklace, jewelry or w/e the heck his whiny ass was after. His half-sister is a millionaire and darn it--he wants to be one too! 😫

Mac/Felicia/Maxie/James - He deceived all of them for more than a year. We have seen Cody go on and on about wanting a family and money--but mostly lamenting about the upbringing from the Bells. All the stuff he missed out on etc. And when he found out that a wonderful man like Mac was his father--he didn't embrace him and do cartwheels. He lied because he saw a chance a $$$. That speaks to character.

The moral high-ground that Cody is standing on, cracked and swallowed him up the moment he accepted the bribe from Drew. I despise you jerk and everything you represent. But I will take your money. 😅
