of Americans don’t really know how their government works. For example, a lot of Trump supporters voted for him thinking he’d have the power to make Mexico pay for a wall. And even though that didn’t happen, plenty of people will vote for Trump again because they think he will make Mexico pay for a wall. 😳
It doesn’t really matter whether you want healthcare reform, student debt relief or a wall between the US and Mexico, there is a process to making change. Nothing happens instantly and nobody has all the power. There is a system of checks and balances between the executive, legislative and judicial branches of our government and that system exists for good reason. But a lot of people don’t seem to understand this.
Seriously, I bet that many people who were born in the US would not pass a citizenship test. I would love to see Trump forced to take a citizenship test. I doubt he would pass.
