because it was 64 degrees outside, and I wanted that air INSIDE!
I was only able to get the house to around 68 degrees before the temps outside had leveled up. Now I have all the windows closed and the house is staying a respectable 71 degrees.
I don't know why, but I have this STRONG desire to keep my house as cool as possible without using the a/c. I don't HATE the a/c, i love it! especially at night and when it's humid. But there's something about learning the 'tricks' to keeping it cool.
tracking the sun and keeping windows open or closed; using the attic fan or just letting the wind cool the house; which doors are more/less insulated, I mean I could go on and on. And I play with these variables during the day to trying to achieve the most desirable results.
i am so weird.
