"is giving up and waiting to die." Ok I get it. But in a way, we all are doing that.

However, she *does* need help: showering, dressing and making sure she eats so she can take her medicines.

Hubby & his siblings have a HUGE text message chat about this. If they can find someone to be at the house for 4 hours/day at a reasonable cost - hubby would be okay with her going back. Hubby does NOT want his 1 sister to shoulder the burden of caring for mom. He really needs a few of the siblings (other than this particular sister) to get on board with making the assistance a condition of mom going back to the house.

If the cost for the help is approaching where she is now? not so much.

This is stressing hubby out, therefore stressing me out by proxy. Plus add in my current work situation (still treated like a leper) and various issues today - PennDOT contractor related) I need a couple of drinks.

Still looking for a job. Being a bit picky (location and pay) because I can only drive so far in the winter months and while I will take a small pay cut for the right job; there is no way I am working for $15/hr again. If I wanted that, I could go to Target or Kohls tomorrow.
