I still don't have a ton of sympathy for Aegon given that they made it pretty clear he's a serial rapist, but in this particular situation, I feel like he'd be well within his rights to say to Alicent "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! YOU ****ING DRAGGED ME TO THE THRONE, I WANTED NO PART OF IT, AND NOW YOU'RE TELLING RHAENYRA IT'S COOL IF SHE KILLS ME TO GET IT BACK?!"
Rhaenys was also seemingly much more...aware of who was at fault when it came to Alyn. "His past is no fault of his." Clearly heavily implying it's not ALYN'S fault Corlys slept with someone else and had children with her. RIP to a real one, Rhaenys.
