had some real downpours here in Brooklyn but nothing like what you got. I live close to the waterfront but up on a ridge (not quite a cliff). The Belt Parkway below us gets flooded in bad storms. I’ve seen water running down the street up here that could only go down like a waterfall once it reaches the edge of the ridge. It’s comforting that we didn’t get flooded or lose power during Superstorm Sandy. But that was 12 years ago and weather has gotten more and more extreme since then.
I’m glad you didn’t lose power and hope you and your family have minimal damage.
