I don't know when I'll finish The Man From the Train - I've been working on it for a year. Listen for the Lie was good, though, and pretty quick - I finished it in a day!
We had crabs, got to see the Air Show (man some of those jets are LOUD) and overall enjoyed it. Came back pretty early on Sunday, though, since Monday was Jack's first day of school - 4th grade already!!!
I'm having a lot of trouble wrapping my mind around Jack being a fourth grader "already"!
It blows my mind.
Nothing much else going on around here, though I did decide to postpone our London trip to next Thanksgiving instead.
What made you decide that, if I may ask?
It was a lot of things - one, I was getting so focused on finding a good deal and looking for a place to stay was really getting to me and there were a bunch of different options but none of them were the best. And there were some things I wanted tickets to that I couldn't get, or could only get through third party sellers, like the Warner Brothers Studio Tour (Harry Potter) - I was all keen on going to this little town where there's a shuttle the first couple of days and go first thing in the morning but whoops I didn't realize that the only tickets available were in the afternoon because apparently they go really quickly. Plus Jack hasn't finished the first book yet and I'd like him to finish them all and be just as into it as I am before we go. It will still be my birthday that week, just Friday instead of Thursday. I will be buying tickets and planning stuff out starting in probably December though, lol.
