I get it, the American Revolution is a thing but I swear I learned about it every year. After 12 years of regular history, we ended around the Civil War with a quick lesson on the World Wars and a touch of the 60's civil rights stuff for those of us who did AP History so we could get college credit. I got to take electives in college where I was interested, but honestly, the 19th and 20th centuries would have been more relevant.
