the Renaissance (honestly, does any American kid care when the Magna Carta was signed? I didn't...and yes, I realize the Magna Carta, signed in 1215, predates the Renaissance <g>), the American Revolution, the Civil War and then maybe a little on WWI. And then it'd be the last week of school and we'd be barely up to WWII, let alone the Korean War, the Vietnam war or anything that happened in the last decade or so of our young lives. Pacing, people! Pacing is important!
