and if we wanted to, we could spend an hour or so after work each evening stacking it, and both Saturday and Sunday. If we did that, it would take 2 full weeks (with 2 full weekends) and I have some work and personal travel coming up, Hubby is entering his crazy busy season and....we just don't want to.

i think a lot of NE transplants in the South put in fireplaces because....well why would one NOT have a fireplace, right? If I lived in the South, I would probably still have one, but it would be a gas insert, largely for ambiance and hanging stockings on at Christmastime.
