ASAP. Also tell your doctor about your shortness of breath when you do a minor activity like taking a shower. In the meantime, make sure you’re drinking plenty of fluids and staying hydrated. And try doing a bit of deep breathing, which you can do while just sitting on your couch or bed. Just take as deep breath as you can, hold and repeat a few times.

I hope this is a very temporary situation for you and that you feel better very soon.
