American Airlines plane hit by helicopter at DC's National Airport

A flight from Wichita was landing and was hit by a US Army Blackhawk helicopter. Canadair CRJ 700 plane, 64 passengers and crew. 3 soldiers on the helicopter. Crashed into the Potomac. The river was frozen over until the last day or two. There's no moon tonight, making it harder to search.

People have been pulled out of the river alive but no further reports.

The airport is closed, no idea when it will reopen. I'm supposed to leave my mom's tomorrow to fly to DCA on a Canadair CRJ 700. 😬
