the freezer (which is on top, not on the bottom) will defrost and any ice cubes we had melt away. Which is fine...Dad doesn't like overly cold drinks and I'm content with the level of cold the refrigerator provides. Plus our freezer has a faint smell that gets in the ice cubes, so I rarely bother making ice cubes. A couple summers ago, I was really into mock Moscow mules (mainly to put all the mint growing wild in the front flower bed to use). That was the only time I was making, and using ice cubes.
All that to say...I get it 😄
