The person who is shopping my order calls me if they are out of anything on my list to see if I want to replace it with something else (for example, if they’re out of the ice cream flavor I ordered, she’ll tell me what flavors they do have) and when she’s done shopping the order, she tells me it will be delivered in 45 minutes to an hour. I can also track the status of my order online on their website (order received/order in process/order done/do I want to add anything? And yes, of course, I tip the delivery guy. It’s a real service to me.
If only all deliveries could be as easy as groceries.
