not sure if they will try to get an immediate replacement, or if they're going to try to get a GOOD replacement - sometimes you can't do both of those things at the same time.
I have no plans to leave. i'm quite comfortable in my role.
but when one is remote, and their remote boss leaves, it generally means the replacement will be in Mass, where the office is.
this means a long weekend for me before she goes. It will probably be the last time I take a day off and DON'T have to log in.
