The ONLY chance the D party has for winning this thing is uniting around VP Harris ASAP. The base of our party is black women and they will not vote and work for an election if Ds throw VP Harris overboard
As far as uniting I mean all the heavy hitters MUST endorse her and they all MUST endorse the process for which she is nominated. Jamie Harrison, as chair of the DNC, needs to lay out that process ASAP, preferably with Clinton, Obama, Schumer, and Jeffries standing behind him
As far as the VP nominee - realistically it will be a straight white male, preferably a governor. I like Governor Shapiro but he is only 2 years into his term. Given that I think it will be either Governor Beshear of Kentucky or Governor Cooper of NC. Both are terming out soon (Cooper this year). Both of white men. Governors play will to the electorate
My guess is it will be Governor Cooper since he is in a swing state.
