"Here's to a beautiful boxing match."

Chris came home to find Eve snooping through his apartment. After
threatening to call the fuzz, he hung up the phone when he realized that
she had possession of his folder on Julie. The two carried on their
usual witty and sarcastic abuse of each other. Chris rubbing in the
fact that Eve was poor. Even rubbing in the fact that Julie and Frank
were getting closer and closer and there was nothing he could do about
it. In the end, it seemed like Eve had Chris exactly where she wanted
him, because he knew he could use her help in getting to Julie.

"I'm freaking out, aren't I?"
"In clinical terms? Yes."

Lucy was so nervous about "meeting" Serena for the first time, that she
was up cleaning and cooking at the crack of dawn. She had fixed a
breakfast big enough to feed a small island country, and then proceeded
to freak out about fixing the wrong thing, or too much food, or
whatever. So, Kevin tried to calm her down. Once Serena and Scott
finally appeared, and the intros were made, Lucy seemed to relax. Kevin
made a positive impression on Serena, and it seemed like Lucy and Serena
bonded over some old pictures of Scotty. Scotty then told Serena that
there would be some friends of his who would be coming over to ask her
some questions about where she had been. When he suggested that they go
to the hospital to see Lee and Gail, and maybe have an itty, bitty
checkup, Serena freaked and ran out of the room. Of course, Scotty and
Lucy also freaked at this point. Lucy came up with the brilliant idea,
however, of having Karen check Serena out at the lighthouse. Scotty
called Karen, Karen came over and was very smooth at getting to the
point where she could examine Serena. (I was mucho impressed.) I love
the fact that they call each other "sis."

NBA vs. WNBA?

The morning after the night before, Frank relives his basketball game,
and near miss, with Julie. Julie comes out and asks Frank out on a
date. He accepts. At the hospital, Julie tries to be subtle about
asking whether or not Frank is seeing anyone, but Joe catches on real
quick. He assures her that Frank is single. After Joe leaves, the
phone rings and Julie has a secretive (and one-sided) conversation about
some secret that she is hiding. (I wonder if Chris knows the secret?
Is it in the file?)

At the bar, Mike haggles the owner to an agreeable price. He offers the
apartment in back to Matt, who doesn't want anyone to feel sorry for
him. He and Mike have a chat, though, and sees that Mike isn't that
type of person. He accepts the apartment.

The show ends with Chris about to kill. . . I mean lose, his first
patient. Stay tuned.

On a scale of 1-5, this show rated 4 tongue depressors!

Ciao,
