Eve thinks about breaking up Julie and Frank and wonders how low
she will sink for money. She's standing at the waterfront flashing
the money when a kid comes up and talks to her then grabs her. She
screams (and does *nothing* else, despite the fact that she's nearly
a foot taller than him). Scotty comes to the rescue. They chat
about his still being in PC. He tells her that he's staying
permanently. She's pleased and says so. He notices and she tries to
cover her human feelings by saying she's just happy for Serena.
They discuss her hunger for money - he wants to give her a loan but
she turns him down. He tells her he used to be like her, but then
he fell in love and his love changed him. He tells her about his
wife dying and how PC reminds him of her everywhere he goes. Eve
wonders if it's worth loving someone so much if it leads to the hurt
he's feeling. He thinks it is. He opines that someone must have
really hurt her to make her so cynical. This must have hit a nerve,
because she gets testy and leaves.

Joe admits to Karen that he's wanted to kiss her for some time. She
is shocked - since she is a married woman. He points out that she
doesn't wear a ring, she claims it's because it tears rubber gloves.
He tells her he heard through the Mom Network that things aren't
good between her and Jagger. She denies it. He claims she sorta
lead him on, which angers her - she says she was just being a
friend. He wonders why she never told him that she had a husband
then. She says she wasn't ready to share intimate details of her
life. He doesn't feel the fact that she's married is an intimate
detail. He tells her next time she wants to wake someone in the
middle of the night to talk she should call Jagger. He leaves.
Karen calls Jagger and starts the call being upbeat about her sunny
apartment and slowly gets more and more tearful. She tells him (all
on an answering machine) that she really misses him and wants her to
call her. She starts sobbing and hangs up.

Julie gets over her initial horror at her patient being Cooper.
Cooper calls her Dr. Devlin and Frank catches it. Julie claims
Cooper is just disoriented and starts working. Matt arrives and
tells them that Cooper was being taken for a psychological exam when
he had a major seizure in the back seat. The driver turned to see
what was happening and drove into an embankment. The cop in the back
with Cooper is okay, but the driver has to be cut out and is in bad
shape. Ellen comes up to see why Julie had been screeching like a
banshee, Frank fills her in on Coop's identity. Cooper keeps
telling them they could just let him die but Julie and Ellen treat
him anyway. They restore his ability to breathe. Ellen leaves to
see to the driver. Chris is with him and tells Ellen they need to
open him up. Matt hands her a scalpel, she pulls off the protective
wrapping and stares oddly at it. The driver dies and Ellen thinks
Cooper just claimed his second victim. She goes out into the hall
where she overhears Julie telling Frank that Cooper faked the
seizure because the psych panel would know he is sane. Ellen
interrupts to order a full cat scan and neurological workup.
Julie asks why and Ellen is stunned that she's being argued with.
Julie refuses to play Coopers games and walks off. Ellen tells Matt
to do the work. He mentions giving him some anti-seizure medicine,
but Ellen says not until they know if the seizure was real. Joe
arrives having heard Cooper was there. Cooper smirks at him and
taunts him so Joe goes after him.. Frank pulls Joe away.
