Chris tries to pretend to be surprised at Bennett Devlin's appearance.  Eve
isn't buying it.  She thinks he has some plot going on, he admits that he is
trying to gain world domination - he just needs to get rid of Batman.  He's
curious how she seemed to have learned so much about Devlin after just
one meeting.  She says she knows the type.

Julie and Frank are at the hospital trying to find out who paged her.  It turns
out to have been Bennett, who is there with Alan Quartermaine.  She introduces
him to Frank, who excuses himself to make a phone call.  Alan tells her that
he invited her father to stay and give some seminars.  He assures her that the
hospital will continue to think of her as Julie Morris, and leaves them to
talk.
Julie is not happy about Daddy staying, but he insists he'll respect her
wishes
and keep their relationship secret.  He tells her he'll leave town if she
wants,
of course she tells him not to.  Alan returns and they tell him the good news.
Frank returns and they tell Bennett what he does for a living.  Bennett seems
to like Frank.

Julie and Frank hit the recovery room.  Frank heads off to get drinks and Julie
goes to ask Chris and Eve to keep mum about Dad.  Eve's is a little surprised
that Bennett isn't leaving town, and leaves to go to “work”.  This surprises
Chris and Julie since they know Eve is off today.  Chris leaves and Julie
rejoins Frank.

Rex chortles evilly to himself as he opens champagne.  He can't wait until
Danielle pops her little surprise.

Danielle tells Lucy and Kevin that she is Serena's mother.  Lucy gets angry,
Danielle flashes back to Rex threatening her - he'll hurt Jake if she doesn't
play along.  Danielle explains that the fertilized egg was hers and not Dom's.
With flashbacks to Rex's coaching, Danielle tells them that Dom didn't want
to introduce any cancer cells into Lucy, so when she met Danielle, she
convinced
her to donate an egg.  Lucy is upset and angry, and Kevin all but physically
tosses Danielle out.  Lucy and Kevin discuss Danielle's motives and conclude
that she was acting under orders from someone, most likely Rex.  They worry
about Scott's reaction to this.

Danielle, who has picked up some backbone on the way, returns to Rex's.  He
offers her champagne - she calls him a bastard and knocks the glass from his
hand.
