Karen catches Chris (wearing all white) reading the letter from Jagger.  He
tries to say he found it on the floor, she doesn't buy it.  They fight and are
interrupted by Ellen and Bennett.  He sends her over to check on the OR.
Chris tries to wrangle an invite to the operation, Ellen sends him off to
check on Frank's tests.  Ben is anxious to get started, Ellen sends him to
check on the interns - he starts with Eve.  She's taking care of a young
boy who needs stitches.  Bennett lends the kid his walkman and proves
to have a nice bedside manner.  He compliments Eve as the boy is taken
out.  Eve thanks Ben.  Ben says he was going to leave his wife for Eve but
couldn't hurt her, but he did love Eve.  Eve don't believe him and they start
to argue.  Scott sees them arguing and interrupts to tell her about a stuffed
animal that Serena had given Eve.  He leaves and Ben acts jealous about
Scott.

After Bennett goes to get ready for the operation, Scott asks Eve if Ben was
the guy who left her at the restaurant.  Eve doesn't answer.  Scott asks what
happened and Eve said Ben watched her stitch up a kid and reminds Scott
that she told him not to be nice to her.

Lucy worries about Kevin, but Devlin is optimistic.  His main concern is that
Kevin's vision or coordination/balance might be affected.  Meanwhile, a man
in black skulks around Kevin's room.  (It's not Rex - he's busy skulking
around the lighthouse.)   The MIB opens the IV flow wide and says something
in what I think is Latin (I only understood the Italian name for Jesus). and
leaves.  Lucy goes in to talk to Kevin when a machine starts beeping.  She
runs out and Joe comes in and realizes that the IV had been wide open.  He
takes care of the problem.  Ben asks who started the IV, Karen admits it was
her.  Bennett tells her that she compromised the operation and orders her to
stay away from the OR.  He takes Chris and they leave.  Karen tells Joe that
she knows she set the IV right.  Scott goes and comforts Lucy.

Rex turns off the lighthouse alarm and makes threats to Scott as he looks
around.  He picks up a picture of Scott and Serena, then looks for Scott's
briefcase.  He finds one, ascertains that it's Scott's.  He finds a tetris game
in it, and a permission slip for a field trip to a play for Serena.  After some
snarky comments, he takes the return envelope for the permission slip (do
they not still have the kid bring those with on the day of the trip?).  He
spreads a liquid on it, commenting that a lick of it will make him go psycho.
He then does a few blank envelopes just to be safe.  He tells the picture of
Scott that child custody judges don't like psychotic fathers.  He hears Gail
and Serena outside the door, sets the picture back on the table and hides.
Gail and Serena come in to get overnight stuff for Serena because the adults
will be at the hospital for Kevin's surgery.  Serena notices that the picture
was moved because Scott keeps it in a specific spot so he can see it from his
desk (making me wonder why he doesn't just keep it on his desk - then I
remember that it's to move along this lame plot).  Rex mutters to himself
that Serena is sharp eyed.  Serena and Gail get the stuff they need and leave.
Rex finishes up , puts the picture back to it's original spot, and leaves.
