My first Wednesday update!  Let me know if it is OK (too long, short,
etc.)

1. Jake, Danielle, Scotty and Lucy at the hospital

Scott and Lucy confront Danielle about leaving and promising not to
return, but here she is.  Jake says he needs her [Gag!].  Danielle
swears she won't go after Serena.  Lucy and Scott want to know what
she's up to.  They inform her about Kevin's operation.  Scott warns them
to stay away from him and Serena.  Danielle keeps saying they must hate
her but that she can explain.  Jake and Danielle agree to leave the
room.  Lucy calls them back -- she's not done with them yet.

2. Karen and Joe in the on-call room

Karen explains to Joe that she wrote a letter to Jagger.  He's written
her back, saying that he wants a divorce to marry another woman.  She
apologizes for not telling him sooner, she needed time to process the
events.  She is concerned aobut what Chris Ramsey will do with the info.

3.  Chris Ramsey and Dr. Burgess

Chris tells her that Karen was in a terrible state when she was working
on Kevin,  She was tired and overworked, but worse that she had also
been dumped that night.

4. Lucy et. al. in the hospital

Lucy tells Danielle that she has some stuff to tell her.  She says she
doesn't hate her but to recap their history: Lucy had tried to be her
friend, had introduced her to her family, told her intimate details
about herself and her best friend and defended her to others.  And boy,
does she hate when others (ie. Scott) are right!  Scott says he knew
Danielle wanted something from the start.  Jake defends her.

[LOD, Part 1: Lucy tells Dan she finally got an acting job!]  Danielle
keeps saying she can explain.  Lucy wants to know how Danielle could
tell her in her own home the lie about Serena's parentage.
[LOD, Part 2: Luc y says she must have been taking lessons, perhaps in
method acting.]

Jake stops Danielle's protests.  Lucy says they will find out what
happened and that Danielle et. al. will pay.  Twists the knife a little
more by saying that Danielle is nothing like Dominique and that Dom
would be disappointed in Dan's behaviour.  Jake and Danielle [finally]
leave the room.

Scott warns Lucy to zip it up, they don't want to give away what they
think they know about the kidnapping.  Lucy says she hopes she didn't
damage their side, but glad she said what she did.  Scott tells Lucy she
used to be the same way with him.  They know it is after hours, but Lucy
wants to go see Kevin.  They go.

5. Ramsey and Burgess

Chris admits he read Karen's letter and that Karen saw him with the
letter.  Burgess hopes the day comes when Chris's friends are as
concerned about his well being. [Great sarcasm -- Chris hasn't fooled
her a bit!]  Chris leaves.  Matt wheels in, looking like he overheard
some of the conversation.  Matt talks about his days in rehab as a kid,
and how they would initiate new kids, bonding in a group and group
responsibility.  Burgess says it's an interesting story, but that she
has to get back to work.

6. Karen and Joe in on-call room continued

Karen tells Joe about San Francisco and the "little girlfriend" walking
in and never seeing Jagger while she was there.  Karen says she'll be
OK. Joe offers to help.  Karen says that she doesn't fit the part of
someone who would open Kevin's IV.  Burgess enters.  She wants to speak
to Karen alone.  Joe leaves.  Karen is told that she is going to be put
on review for the IV incident and that she is off the surgical rotation.

7. Lucy in Bub's hospital room

Kevin seems to be sleeping, but wakes up while Lucy is speaking.  Lucy
"just wants to have fun" and wishes they were in NY in a hotel instead
of here in ICU.  Kevin says it's OK, because they're together.  Scotty
enters, warning that a nurse is coming.

Kevin tries to send Lucy home.

[Another LOD: tells Lucy her clothes could stand up on their own!]

Lucy says she is not going home until Kevin does.  Kevin says Sigmund
needs her.  Scotty chimes in that he agrees that Lucy needs to go home.
Lucy refuses to go home, but will go take a break in the lounge.

Outside the room, Lucy is now mad at Scott for siding with Kevin.  Scott
tells her she is in need of some care.  Has she checked her make-up
lately?  Lucy does (in her compact), squeals and decides to go home
[LOD!].

8. Karen and Burgess

Karen complains that being off rotation makes her guilty before being
proven innocent.  Burgess says both she and Joe can empathize, but they
had positive outcomes to their problems.  Karen says Kevin is her
friend, she had his welfare uppermost in her mind.   Burgess says she
has reasons to believe otherwise.  The decision stand, Karen's off
surgical rotation.  Burgess leaves.  Karen slams book on table in anger
or frustration.  Joe enters.

Karen tells him what happened and blames Chris.  Guess who enters?
Chris.  Karen confronts him and wants to know what he said behind her
back.  Karen calls him a bastard.  Joe talks to him rationally.  Chris
won't discuss this.  Joe slugs Chris.

Chris pushes Joe and a mini-fight ensues.  Matt enters and breaks them
up.  Chris warns they'll regret this.  He leaves.  Joe says he'll kill
Chris if he causes Karen more trouble.  Matt tries to calm them.  Karen
isn't mad at Joe for the fight, he did just what she wanted to [her
hero].

9. Lighthouse

Scott has two mugs in his hands and is calling out for Lucy.  Apparently
she isn't home.

10. Kevin's room

Lucy is back, dressed like a babushka.  She had to sneak in, even bribed
a nurse with Jax cosmetics.  Lucy says she'll be sneaking in every night
until Kevin goes home.  Kevin makes a head movement to kiss her, but he
can't reach.  He says "Kiss me, I can't reach you." She does, they do.
They snuggle.  [A vintage Kevin and Lucy scene, it was very sweet.]

11. Burgess and Matt in hallway at GH

Another Matt rehab story.  This time about Chunky, the kid who threw
chocolate bars from under his seat when things got rough in rehab, to
make the others feel better.  More group bonding philosophy.  Burgess
asks for Matt's nickname in rehab.  He says "Bono".  "As in U2?" she
asks.  Yup. [Yeah, my second-favourite band of all time. - Deb]  Matt
thinks she's upset about evaluating Karen.  She denies it.  She goes to
the elevator, Matt says "you're welcome", and we can see she is inwardly
pleased with Matt's concern.

12. Karen and Joe

Karen administers to Joe's wounds.  She thanks him for helping.  Joe
says he won't let Chris screw her internship up.  Karen thanks him for
being a friend.  They hug.  Joe says he'll stick by her.
