From: mtczajka@aol.com (MTCzajka) Subject: PC: Monday Update 11/3 Date: 3 Nov 1997 18:26:50 GMT Scott and company are frantically searching the house for Serena. Scott goes outside and hears her calling from a bush. He brings her back in. She tells him that she was afraid that they would take her away from him. Scott assures her that he won't let that happen. He takes her to bed. Joe and Karen head off to sleep. The social worker tells Scott that she is very impressed at his fathering skills, but he still has to leave since she can't stay. At home, Eve drops in on Scott with some candy corn. They discuss how to eat them - Eve does bottom up, Scott does it the right way - top down. Lucy calls to check on Scott and is not happy that Eve is there. Lucy and Kevin listen to the answering machine - there is a message from the fertility doctor. Lucy is worried that something is wrong and Kevin comforts her. The next morning, he makes her breakfast in bed. She thinks her psychic abilities are kicking in and thinks the test results are bad. Kevin tells her it's natural to be worried. He is too, but is optimistic. Meanwhile, Eve has stayed up all night with Scott - he's made breakfast for her too. He brings her a tray - apple juice and candy corn. Rex and Danielle talk about gaining custody of Serena. He tells Danielle that she has to move in with him - it'd be bad for custody if she's living in sin. She denies that they are living in sin, but goes to pack up anyway. Jake comes in and she tells him she's moving - if she doesn't do what Rex says, Rex will kill her. The Devlins talk to the police about Julie - Ben is offering $100,000 for her safe return. Chris comes in and tells them that he rented a billboard with Julie's info on it. Ben and Frank want to help pay, but Chris refuses. The cops talk to an orderly who had his clothes and ID stolen. The guard tells about stopping an orderly by the same name. Frank checks and discovers that the orderly never arrived at the morgue with the body he was moving. Julie's mom realizes that the body could have been Julie. (Ben puts his arms around her in a weird half-nelson hold to comfort her.) Julie, her face marked with grease pencil, is strapped to a table awaiting her surgery. Cooper rambles on about making her more beautiful. He tells her even if it doesn't work out - that beauty comes from within. She struggles, gets one arm loose, and manages to knock over the instruments. Cooper gets upset, he needs to go back to the hospital and get some more sterilized instruments. He leaves and she prays to be saved from him. Marguerite Marguerite.Czajka@ChicagoIL.NCR.COM
