Danielle testifies that she signed away her parental rights to Serena as she
was afraid that Scott would kill her if she didn't. Scott manages to keep
quiet during this. (FYI, Scott's lawyer, Justus, is looking good.) The
social worker takes the stands and testifies that Serena took off from the
party. She then testifies that with her 15 years of experience, she feels that
Serena's grandparents are the best choice for guardianship. Rex' lawyer
brings up an independent study of Rex' suitability as guardian. The judge
says she'll have a decision before the day is up. While she's deciding, Justus
tells Scott that his bail will not be revoked. The judge comes back and very
accurately sums up Scott - he follows rules only when they are convenient
for him, is unpredictable, etc. However, Lee and Gail are the best temporary
guardians. Scott will have visits at the Social Services office twice a week.
Scott tells Kevin, Lee, and Gail that he's going to the Caymans to check
on the bank account. They think someone needs to stop him, but he goes
10 feet away and calls his pilot to gas up the jet. Naturally, Rex (standing
in plain sight of everyone and about 6 feet away) overhears.

Frank and Chris (knowing the difference between a cat and a person), hear
Julie's cries for help. Chris goes to call for help, while Frank breaks in.
Cooper holds Julie with a knife to her throat. Later, Garcia and a couple
of cops are taking Cooper away. The Devlins arrive and Julie tells them
Frank saved her. The Devlins thank Chris and Frank.

Matt is in with Boardman as he regains consciousness. Ellen comes in and
tells Boardman that Matt saved his life - Boardman is stunned. Monica
Quartermaine comes in to check on Boardman and reiterates how Matt saved
his life. She asks Matt to work with her on an early morning surgery. Matt
heads for surgery and tests out the standing board. Ellen comes in and they
discuss Boardman and his problems with the handicapped or Matt in particular.

Karen and Joe treat a man with chest pains. Turns out he owns Mario, Jr's, a
well known restaurant, he just had a huge meal and has indigestion. He insists
they come to his restaurant for a free meal. He leaves and Joe and Karen
discuss
how it's just two friends having dinner and *not* a date.
