Lucy is complaining about having to meet Scotty on the cold rooftop.  He
tells her about the hypnotism session - Serena didn't recognize her kidnapper
as Rex.  Scott's going to tell Conklin about it, and hopes he'll listen, though
both he and Lucy are doubtful.    Scott's having everyone going to the
engagement party checked out.  Lucy thinks Rex is falling for her plot.

Chris and Matt tease Karen and Joe about being caught on the rooftop.  The
janitor who rescued them has spread the word.  A drunk man comes in and
wants room 617.  They try to get him to talk to the nurse on duty, he doesn't
want to.  Chris and Karen want to call security, but Joe wants to fight with
him.  Karen nicely explains to the man that visiting hours are not until later.
He agrees to come back and points out to Joe that he could have just said
that.  Karen asks Joe why he made such a big deal out of the problem and Joe
snarkily tells her to drop it.  He huffs off.  Matt and Chris also disappear.

Alice comes up and Karen is happy that she's doing better.  Karen leaves, and
Alice chats with Grace about Matt.  Alice tells Grace to grab the chance with
Matt while she can.

Scott talks to Eve - he wants her to go on her lunch hour to Rex' and get
the engagement party guest list.  Scott grumbles about his situation and
getting his friends caught up in the mess as well.  Eve tries to reassure him
that none of this is his fault.

Scott tells Conklin about the hypnotism - Scott wants a sketch artist to talk
to Serena.  Conklin refuses, and Boynton comes in Conklin's office.  Scott
and Conklin argue a little, then Conklin gives in and they go off to find a
sketch artist.  Boynton calls Rex and tells him they have to meet - they have
a problem.  Rex is not pleased.

At Rex', Rex is watching Lucy having her dress for the party fitted.  She's
wondering about the guest list - she doesn't know most of the people on
it.  He tells her that they are mostly business associates - lawyer,
accountant,
etc.  She wants to know more about his world.  Eve arrives.  Lucy tells her
that the proofs have arrived and also that she's welcome to Kevin.  Lucy
tells Eve about the wedding, and Rex leaves them to do girl talk.  They
fake talk about how happy the occasion is and Lucy asks Eve to be her
maid-of-honour since most of her friends aren't speaking to her anymore.
Eve protests that they barely know each other - but Lucy thinks it'll be a
great business coup for Jacks Cosmetics.

Joe apologizes to Karen for blowing up at her.  She still thinks something
else is going on - like maybe she said or did something to upset him.  He
assures her that she didn't.

Grace wheels Alice out where they meet Matt.  Alice is being discharged.
Matt challenges her to a race.  Alice is winning, when Ellen cut the race
short.  Ellen tells her that she'll see her when she arrives for follow-up
appointments.  Alice wants her to come visit her at home, she'll make her
favourite - ox-tail soup.  Alice leaves and Ellen goes over to talk to Joe.
She suggests he see Dr. Collins about managing stress.  He doesn't think
he has a problem - the drunk guy did.  Ellen tells him to see Kevin anyway.

Eve meets with Scott and tells him about being maid-of-honour.  She wants
to know more about the dream so she can snoop around Rex'.  Scott starts
to tell her - saying the man Serena sees is wearing glasses.  The scene
switches to a close-up of Boynton's glasses.  As the camera pulls back,
we see he's with Rex.  Boynton says that Serena can identify him, so they
have to kill her.  Rex smirks.  (Cliffhanger)
