Scott is getting angry, wondering how Eve is going to get him past the
guard outside his hospital room. Eve says she'll figure it out. Scott
makes a crack about not wanting to leave in a body bag and Eve tells him
not to laugh--that's Plan B. Her current plan is to grab a cart, make it
look just contaminated enough that nobody will look inside, get Scott into
it and slip him right out. Scott approves, but points out one small
detail--the handcuffs locking him to the bed.

Mrs. Stanton is feeling much better after her allergic reaction to the
wine and the anti-histimines seem to have conquered the hives. Rex and
Lucy have breakfast, Lucy still fending off Rex's advances. Rex tells
Lucy about Gail trying to run off with Serena and remeinds her that today
is the day he becomes Serena's guardian. Lucy says it's wonderful that
Serena is coming, but that they're not ready... for example, they don't
have Serena type food. And the house isn't exactly child friendly. Rex
asks what he should change and Lucy suggests brightening the place up.
She also says she wants to be the one to help Serena with the transition
to living in Chez Stanton. Rex wants to know when *he'll* get a chance to
bond with Serena, but Lucy says Serena should get to know Rex through her
first, so she can dispel all the nasty lies the Baldwins have probably
filled Serena's head with. She butters him up a bit with comments about
his generosity and thoughtfulness... and slips in that she thinks they
should bring over Serena's bedroom set from the light house. Rex very
astutely points out that Lucy always seems to get what she wants. Lucy
agrees.

Matt is sick and in pain, his wounds bleeding through his shirt. He's
apparently gone out to get bandaging supplies from the pharmacy, but is
suffering at home now.

At GH, Kevin is in hangover mode--sunglasses and stubble. "Nothing like a
hangover and Lucy Coe to bring a man to his knees." Jake gives him some
vitamins and painkillers for the hangover, but says he can't help with the
Lucy part. Jake asks if Kevin has thought anymore about the plan to bring
Danielle "back to life" to bring Rex down. Kevin says he thought it was
something he dreamed up in an alcholic haze. Jake thinks it's a good
idea, just crazy enough to work. Kevin asks who was working in the OR the
night Danielle dies and Jake says it was Karen and Joe. Kevin says
they'll need to get at least one of them to help. Jake agrees, "We need
at least one intern who's willing to brush aside the Hippocratic oath,
falsify records and put his or her reputation on the line." Kevin advises
against putting it quite like *that* when he approaches Karen or Joe.

Joe confronts Eve about Scott's bloodwork, saying the numbers are fine and
there's nothing wrong with him. He wants to know what's going on. He
figures Scott is faking... after all being quarantined means "bad food, no
visitors, beats the hell out of being in jail." Eve warns him to drop it,
but Jake asks if she's trying to help Scott escape. He warns her that she
could end up in jail and in front of an AMA board. She insists that Scott
is her friend and she won't let him rot in jail. When Joe gets that he
won't be able to stop her, he says he wants to help.

Eve brings a Hazmat cart into Scott's room. She offers to let the guard
watch while she flushes Scott out, but he graciously declines. Joe climbs
out of the cart once they are in the room. Scott says he doesn't want Joe
involved, but Joe points out that without him, they wouldn't have the keys
to the handcuffs (the psych ward uses the same cuffs and Joe swiped the
keys). The plan is for Joe to take Scott's place in the oxygen tent. If
they discover him, they'll just find a sleepy and disoriented intern who
wandered in and took a nap.

Matt calls Grace and tells her he's sick. He says he doesn't know when
he'll be back at work. Grace figures she knows what he needs... and
orders some takeout.

Joe promises Scott he'll take care of Karen. Eve wheels Scott on out of
the room. Karen, meanwhile, tells the guard outside that everyone who has
been exposed to Scott needs a vaccination and gives him a shot.

Scott and Eve have an emotional goodby. He reminds her that this isn't
the first time she's helped him get out of GH. She gives him an envelope
of money and the keys to Joe's Jeep. Scott tells her he's got friends to
help him and Serena once they get out of the country. He accuses Eve of
getting weepy on him and she denies it (tears notwithstanding). She says
she figures with him out of her life, she can get back to being a doctor.
"The first time I met you, you almost cost me my job," she says. "And
here you are, skipping out on her again." He says he's not good at
good-byes, but that he's never going to forget her. They kiss, and he
leaves. As he runs off, Eve says (through tears) "they always leave."

The social worker brings Serena over to Rex's house. Lucy does her best
to make Serena feel comfortable, but Serena is not happy at all to be
there. Lucy says Scott asked her to take care of Serena while he's away.
Serena is a bit cheered up by the idea of going with Lucy, Kevin and
Sigmund. Lucy breaks the news that they'll be staying at Rex's. She
tells Serena that she married Rex. Serena starts to cry, protesting (I
couldn't tell if she said "but you love Kevin" or "but you'll lose
Kevin"). Lucy tells Serena she only did it so they could be together.
Serena doesn't understand, but Lucy promises she won't let anything bad
happen to her. Serena makes her pinky promise on it.

Grace goes over to Matt's with some seaweed soup. Matt refuses to let her
in, saying he doesn't want her to see him sick. He finally convinces her
to leave the soup by the door and go.

Kevin and Jake are working on their plan. How to convince Rex that
Danielle didn't die on the operating table? Jake says they should pretend
she slipped into a coma and then, for her protection, they said she was
dead. Then they leak the information that Danielle has come out of her
coma and wants to testify against Rex. They figure Rex will have to go
after her. They talk about needing a "double" for Danielle, and help from
Karen and/or Joe. As they're questioning whether Joe would blow them out
of the water...

Agent Conklin shows up at Scott's room. Joe's listening at the door and
looks a bit dismayed as he realizes Conklin is coming in...

The End.
