Port Charles Update
Friday the 13th, February
Razz standing in for TnT

At GH, Ellen and Grace need to work on their stealth skills as they
worry over Matt's lab results with Chris within earshot. It looks bad
for Matt, as the lab results show it's worse than they suspected.

At the Dark Fortress, Lucy gets Serena ready for school. Rex walks in
and is surprised to find Lucy up bright and early. He tosses out some
sexual innuendo, but Lucy tells him not in front of the child. Rex
tries to talk to Serena, but she answers with a swift kick to the foot.
Rex, however, doesn't seem to much care; he has slipped a bug into
Lucy's purse.

In the catacombs, Scott and Eve wait for Lucy and company to arrive.
Eve tells Scott she would feel better if she had a cross or holy water,
it's Friday the 13th, anything can happen. Scott thanks Eve for hanging
in there. Eve says anything for Serena and in a show of bravado tells
Scott that Friday the 13th will be the worst day of Rex's life.

At the Recovery Room, Frank, Julie and Lark are out not enjoying
breakfast. Joe and Karen arrive. They also seem to have failed Spy
Technique 101 as they discuss Rex and the catacombs in a public spot.
Luckily, Chris isn't around to hear this conversation. Mike attempts to
get the interns to try Bernadette, his new fortune-telling machine. Joe
is the first to give it a shot. "Too many condiments result in a
swelled head." Sure enough, Joe hits a box full of condiments (ketchup
and mustard) and he gets a goose-egg on his head. Everyone exclaims
over Bernadette's charms. Lark helpfully offers that she's going to be
sick. (OK, is this a lead-in for "Big" or "The Exorcist"?)

At GH, Kevin is again lurking about in the halls, when he and Lucy have
a staged conversation about Danielle being "alive" and hiding in the
catacombs. Supposedly, Jake realized Rex tried to kill her, so he, with
help from Joe and Karen, has been nursing her and hiding her, ever
since. Now Danielle is awake and wants to warn Lucy about Rex and tell
the Cops everything. Kevin agrees to arrange a meeting between Danielle
and Lucy.

Over at Matt's, Ellen warns Matt that the infection has gotten into his
blood. She wants him to go to the hospital; he refuses. "Your blood is
poisoned, you know what that means." (Wow, is that what they teach 'em
in Med School?) Matt makes Ellen promise that she will not admit him to
the hospital. Grace arrives, feels his forehead and says that he's
burning up. Ellen and Grace argue over whether or not to call an
ambulance. Grace goes back to GH for more gauze, etc. Ellen tells
Grace she believes that Matt must know what's best, since he has all the
facts and they don't.

At the Recovery Room, Julie tells Frank she can go with Lark and him to
visit Lark's Mom. Lark refuses. Frank agrees. Julie tries her hand at
Bernadette. Her card reads, "Lucky in love, unlucky in cars." Sure
enough, we hear a screech and Julie's bike has just been hit by a car.
Lark congratulates Bernadette on being right once again, "too bad for
the Prom Queen." (OK, maybe it's "Carrie.")

In the catacombs, Scott and Eve continue to get ready for Rex. The
videocameras are ready and Eve is wearing a blond wig and bandages.
Jake and Karen arrive.

At the Dark Fortress, Lucy returns and gets her staged phone call from
Kevin. Rex, of course, knows what's going on. When Lucy leaves, Rex
follows close behind.

At the Recovery Room, Mike, Frank and Julie discuss Bernadette. Mike
says he got it (her?) at Rudy's Antique Store and that the previous
owner got rid of it because it spooked all his customers. Lark walks up
and Julie seems less than amused when Lark reveals that Frank gave her
money and she bought a new sweater. Frank and Lark leave. Chris
arrives, as Julie is about to get another card from Bernadette. Chris
gives it a try... "A friend in need, is a friend in deed."

At Matt's, Matt seems to be delirious and is begging, "Don't make me. I
can't." Ellen says she won't let anyone make Matt do anything that he
doesn't want to.

In the Catacombs, Kevin and Lucy arrive. Eve plays a bit of the tape
that Jake and Kevin created. Karen says she's been protecting
Danielle. "Danielle" asks Lucy to step closer, as we see Rex standing
just outside, preparing a very large syringe.
