From: mtczajka@aol.com (MTCzajka) Subject: PC: Update for Monday 2/16 Date: 16 Feb 1998 17:37:18 GMT Lucy talks to Danielle - she doesnāt answer. Karen checks her and states that sheās lost consciousness. Kevin says she goes in and out. Lucy says that Danielle being alive doesnāt prove that Rex is guilty. She leaves to go back to her husband, followed by the others. Rex then slinks into the room. He tells Danielle that she gave up a share of 100 million dollars for love, or whatever she felt for Jake. He empties a syringe into her IV while Scott and Jake watch on a monitor. Rex continues to confess all his sins out loud. Near the end of his monologue, Scott appears behind him. Rex insults Scott about going "mano y mano" with him (hand and hand?) Rex tells Scott that tapes often get lost in the evidence room. But Scott has thought of that and brings out the tapes producer - Conklin!! (This updater takes a break to do a little dance of glee around the room to celebrate!) Eve sits up and takes off her wig and face gauze. Rex grabs Eve and points the syringe at her. Scott points out that heāll never leave the room alive. Rex says heāll take Scott down with him, throws Eve aside and goes at Scott. Scott is fighting him off, Jake arrives, grabs Rex and punches him. Jake would like to continue, but Scott and Conklin stop him. Conklin drags Rex off and Scott holds Eve. Later, Scott tells Eve how grateful he is. Conklin comes in and tells Scott that he better get back to the hospital - heāll make sure that the guard is on a donut break. He tells Scott he was wrong about him and heās sorry. Grace arrives at The Recovery Room with supplies for Mattās cold. She runs into Chris who observes that you usually donāt treat colds with gauze and other sterilized stuff. She lamely says that she must have grabbed the wrong bag. Chris doesnāt believe her and starts pounding on Mattās door. Ellen opens it and tells him that itās none of his business. Chris goes in, checks Matt and asks Ellen why she doesnāt take him to the hospital. Ellen tells him a story about Matt being hurt when a can of kerosene blew up in a garage. Chris instantly sees that the story doesnāt fit. Later, Matt is in a hospital room with Ellen. He comes too and is irritated that she broke her promise and brought him there. Heās even more upset that Chris is in on it too. She tells him that she had to bring him in to save his life. She tells him that his story of how he got hurt was lame. He tells her that heās already a dead man. Meanwhile, a man calling himself Dennis Johnson, reporter, is calling hospitals looking for a man admitted with injuries from a bomb. Lucy and Kevin are together (yahoo!) at the police station. She wants to forget everything - but Kevin thinks they should keep the charade up a bit longer. Rex is asking for her and she should go. She does - and acts like she doesnāt know why Rex has been arrested. He threatens her if she doesnāt drop the act. She asks what he wants - he tells her he wanted her loyalty. He tells her that her betrayal hurts him more than anything. She tells him that sheās happy to have disappointed him. She tells him that there is nothing he can do to her - he says he already has. He claims he put a slow acting poison in her coffee that morning. He says that only he has the antidote and heāll see her in hell. She freaks out yelling at him "What have you done to me?!"
