From: mtczajka@aol.com (MTCzajka) Subject: PC: Update Tuesday 2/17 Date: 18 Feb 1998 17:56:54 GMT Pretty much all of this has been mentioned, but I thought I'd put it all together anyway. Lee lets Scott know that all charges have been dropped. Karen dropped the quarantine. A judge called Family Services - Scott has regained full custody. Gail and Serena come in - Serena is thrilled to be back with Scott. Scott tells her that everyone who loves her sacrificed everything to make sure she would be safe. Gail tells him that it was for Scott as well. Scott tells his parents that at one time he felt he had no parents - he no longer feels that way. Scott, Serena, Eve, and Karen head back to Scott's. Scott assures Serena that she'll never have to go back to Rex'. She tells him it was okay since Lucy and Sigmund were there. She tells him about biting Rex - "No one is mean to my daddy". She goes off to check her room, Karen follows to make sure she's okay. Scott and Eve get cosy and Karen comes down to find them kissing. She waits until they stop, then comes in. Garcia calls and tells Scott about Lucy being poisoned. He leaves. Karen and Eve chat. Eve says she did everything for Serena, and tells her it feels good to be trusted by some one (Scott) and to trust him as well. Karen tells her that it's fine with her that Eve and Scott are friends. Kevin and Lucy tell Joe about the poison. Lucy tells him that she doesn't want anyone else to know yet. She feels fine, but was hoping Joe could take some blood and do "doctor things" with it. He goes to clear his schedule. Audrey stops by to express he happiness that they are still together. Lucy regrets having to keep lying (she said she was just at the hospital for some routine tests.) Lucy tells Kevin she has an upset stomach. Kevin is worried, but Lucy says it's probably just tension. Julie, who had been helping Joe, tells Chris about Lucy. Joe comes out and loses it about them gossiping. He tells them that Lucy is a hero is his book and her behaviour with Rex was just an act. Julie asks why he's in such a crappy mood - Lucy and Kevin come up and fear the worst. Scott arrives and Joe tells them that her body is definitely trying to fight off something. Scott tells him that he doesn't care what it costs - find out what Lucy has. Kevin gets his coat and leaves - he's going to find out what Rex gave Lucy if he has to beat it out of him. Matt repeats his story about the exploding turpentine can to Ellen, Grace, Jake, and Julie. They seem to swallow it. Ellen sends them from the room and confronts Matt with her disbelief. She wants the truth (I hear Jack Nicholson "You can't *handle* the truth!") He claims he was just being dramatic when he said he was a dead man already. Chris comes in to check on Matt - Matt thanks him for saving his life. Chris tells him that it was a tough decision, if he had left him, he would have a better shot at the Q prize. Ellen is paged and leaves, promising, like MacArthur, to return. In the hall, Grace confides to Ellen about how much she cares about Matt. She wants to be alerted if there is anything else wrong. Ellen tells her she let her know if anything else shows up. Grace leaves and Ellen looks unhappily at an X-Ray. Later, Grace thanks Chris for helping Matt. She has a bag of Matt's things to go in his locker that she hasn't had a chance to bring there. Chris looks at the box, and a light bulb appears over his head (figuratively, of course.) Grace goes off and Chris takes the keys to Matt's apartment out of the bag. Ellen tells Matt she looked at his x-rays and wants to know why he still has bullet fragments near his spine. He tells her that when he was younger he got into some trouble, and it's popped up again. He tells her he didn't want it to trail him to the hospital. She said the name Matt Harmon has been in the records since he came there. That doesn't matter, because his real name isn't Matt Harmon. Marguerite Marguerite.Czajka@ChicagoIL.NCR.COM
