Port Charles - Friday Update - May 29th  1998

Lucy and Victor come up with a plan.  She'll be the hooker
and he'll be the pimp.  Victor thinks "Monk's not gonna
like it", but they're not going to tell Kevin.  They do an
end run around the Enchanted Escort Agency and Lucy makes
a date with regular customer "Hal."

Kevin goes to the Police Station to have a long overdue
chat with best buddy Mac Scorpio.   Mac's all wrapped
up in the Katherine Bell murder case.  But he listens to
Kevin's theory that a serial killer is copy catting
General Homicide.

Outside the hotel room, Victor and Lucy make last minute
plans.  Is anything should go wrong and Victor can come
in "guns a blazin'".  Inside the hotel room  the "client"
puts away a badge and opens the door for Lucy who is
dressed as Princess Leia.  She wants to know what he thinks
of her "buns".

Eve is making coffee in the Scanlon kitchen.  Scotty comes in.
They speak briefly about Katherine's death.  Scott says she was
an okay girl.  Frank and Julie come in.  Julie overreacts to
Eve's offer of coffee and spills the hot liquid on Frank.  Julie
runs over to the table to get something to treat the burn from
Eve's medical, but instead find an empty morphine vial.

Julie and Frank go ballistic and accuse Eve of poisoning Julie.
Eve doesn't know how the morphine vial got in her bag.  Scott asks
them not to jump to conclusions.  But Frank and Julie are adamant.
Frank calls Det. Garcia to tell him they've found the real killer.

Kevin and Mac continue their discussion of the hospital murders.
Lots of people had a reason to kill Devlin, but not grace.  Mac
wonders if anyone one has a grudge against Kevin.  Kevin can't
think of anyone. (Here's a hint... begins with R and ends with X)
They kick it around a little more and finally get around to Kevin
as a suspect.  Is he enough like Ryan to have committed murder?
Mac doesn't think so and Kevin knows he didn't do it.

Lucy tries to pump the "client" for information about Eve, but he
only wants to know the price.  "$1,500" Lucy tells him.  The
undercover  cop handcuffs her.  Lucy screams and Victor bursts
in.  The cop pulls a gun and identifies himself as "vice".  (In
the next exciting episode of  "Port Charles Vice" Jason Morgan
is busted for bringing in an illegal shipment of gummy bears,
Tammy, the hooker, listens to another sob story, and Ruby is
closely questioned about activities in the apartments above
Kelly's.)

In the Scanlon kitchen Garcia examines the evidence, but is
unimpressed.  Julie demands Eve's immediate arrest, but Garcia
thinks anyone could have planted the bottle.  He takes it with
him for testing.  Julie again accuses Eve of trying to kill her.
Eve says she's tired of living in the Scanlon dormitory and storms
out.  Scott says Julie and Frank would have done well at the
Salem witch hunts.

Mac tells Kevin that Felicia loved his book. "Couldn't put it
down,". (She did not.  She was quite critical of Kevin's
literary effort, and displeased with her own characterization.)
Kevin jokingly questions her tastes in books and boyfriends.
Just after Mac leaves, Lucy and Victor are dragged into the
police station. Kevin is aghast as the arresting officer tells
him that his fiancŽe and father have been arrested for
solicitation.

 4) Well, we've never solved a murder before, why solve this
    one?

 2) Ryan could have done it

 1) Hey, some people are dead
