GO EVE GO! *or* Eve's instincts prove to be true...

Eve is at the jewellery store. She is happy to see that the store has a
video camera trained right on the spot that her car was parked the day
of Serena's accident. Unfortunately, the store owner does not have the
June 26th tape. He would have erased that tape by now.

At the radio station, the GH killer is talking to Kevin over the phone,
on air. Kevin says he wants to help him (the killer). The killer
laughs and tells Kevin that he doesn't need his help ö that he likes who
he is. The killer calls himself Kevin's biggest fans (shades of
Misery!) and thinks it ironic that Kevin is the one trying to meet him.
Kevin wants to know if they have ever met, but the killer won't tell
him. The killer says that he is both Kevin's biggest fan but that he
also believes that Kevin deserves to die. Kevin thinks he is being a
hypocrite, but the killer says no, both are true. The killer has the
utmost respect for Kevin, but he also deserves to have his heart cut out
for what he's done. Kevin wants to know what it is that he's done, but
the killer doesn't want to tell all. He taunts the listeners ö his
voice may be the last thing his next victim hears. During all of this
Lucy has been looking concerned about the conversation.

Back at the jewellery store, the owner goes to check the tapes, but it's
his wife who usually rotates them. Eve flashes back to Scott in the
hospital following Serena's accident. She is upset. The owner tells
her that the tape she is looking for is missing. He's never misplaced
one before. Eve jumps to the conclusion that it's been stolen.. The
owner finds this highly unlikely ö who would break into a jewellery
store in order to steal a tape and leave the store's items untouched.
But Eve thinks that she can imagine that ö the tape is worth more than
the gold and jewellery there to Luöoops, the vandal.

Kevin continues talking to the killer. The killer does not think that
the victims were innocent. They deserved what they got. Kevin tries to
make the distinction between the characters in the book and real people,
but the killer sees the characters only as thinly disguised real people
ö losers all. Kevin points out that Dr. May, Marshak and Grace were
hardly losers. The killer points out that Devlin was a pig and that the
world is better off without him. Lucy points out to Kevin that nobody
liked Devlin, but he hardly deserved to die. The killer agrees with
Kevin that he (the killer) has a divine right to determine who lives or
dies. The killer points out that that is what Kevin did in his book, in
wonderful detail. Kevin asks about Grace. The killer says that Grace
was suffering because the man she loved didn't want her, and he just put
her out of her misery. Kevin points out that he sounds like he knows a
lot about Grace's personal life. Kevin asks if Grace was eliminated
because she found out who he was. The killer says she wasn't that
smart, but that Kevin should have seen the look on Jake's face when he
found out. Kevin tries to learn more about the killer, but he won't
give any clues.

Garcia walks in behind Kevin. He doesn't look pleased. Kevin
apologizes to the killer for whatever has hurt him so badly. The killer
laughs ö apologizes won't bring back the dead or stop others from
joining them. The killer hangs up. End of radio program, but Kevin
first warns everyone that that might not have been the killer, but that
everyone should try and stay safe. Garcia is mad and wants to know what
the hell Kevin was doing. Lucy defends him, saying at least he made
contact with the killer, something Garcia has been unable to do. Garcia
wants to take them all in for obstruction of justice. The radio host
thinks the show was great. Kevin tells Garcia he feels responsible for
the deaths. Garcia tells him it's not his job. Lucy points out that it
could be a woman. Kevin wants to protect Lucy and his family to be.

Frank comes home. Julie is there. He is excited about listening to the
radio show, which Julie says she did not hear. Frank thinks Kevin has
guts. Julie thinks Kevin shouldn't push the killer's buttons. They
discuss that one couldn't tell if it was male or female. A delivery for
Julie is at the door. The delivery guy heard the radio show as well.
Frank doesn't think it was a prank call. He thinks there was something
in the voice that sounded familiar. He is going to be paying attention
to the voices of those he speaks to from now on.

Garcia wants to know where Victor is. He insinuates that Victor could
have made the call. Garcia thinks it's possible that the call was a
fake, which wouldn't get Kevin off the hook. Kevin says that they're
not looking for a psycho. Psychos are out of touch with reality ö this
person functions in society well. Once a perpetrator hits a rhythm,
they usually repeat it. This one's change in MO is risky ö his
Achilles's heel could be that he thinks he's too smart. Kevin says that
this is all personal, all about Kevin. Kevin asks Garcia to trace the
calls next time he does the show. Lucy makes a comment that they should
just tap Eve's phone

At the hospital, Eve tells Chris that she though she had Lucy.
Everything points to Lucy tampering with her car. Eve realizes that
Lucy would never do anything to Serena, but she would do a lot to try to
show Scott that Eve was irresponsible. Eve gets a phone call from the
jewellery store. The tape has been found. His wife used it to tape
their son's little league game.

The box that Julie received was a box of her father's things from
Minnesota, since she is the next of kin. She finds a drawing of a
unicorn that she drew when she was ten, and gets sentimental that her
father kept it. Frank tries to stop her from looking in the rest of the
box, to keep her from being upset. Julie finds a note from Eve to
Devlin, thanking him for the pen he gave her. She also finds a picture
of Eve holding a pen similar to the one that killed Devlin.

Julie is upset, and Frank wants to know if she is jumping on the Lucy
Coe Eve-as-suspect bandwagon. Julie says she always suspected Eve, but
got sidetracked with the idea of Lark-as- suspect. Frank thinks Scott
would have figured it out if she was the killer, but Julie says Scott
went to great lengths to protect Eve. Garcia is at the door, they've
called him about Eve's picture. Julie thinks that it is proof and that
Eve should be arrested. Julie wants her hauled in for questioning.
Garcia says no promises, but that he'll see what they can do. Julie
thinks she is a menace and should be dealt with before she hurts anyone
else, like she did Serena.

Back at the store, Eve and the owner view the tape. The owner is
showing Lucy is son, his wife...Eve gets frustrated and gains control of
the remote.

At the lighthouse, Victor is pleased with the radio show. He thinks
Kevin has the killer on the run. Lucy brings up putting a tap on Eve's
phone again. Kevin says first of all, they don't know if the caller was
actually the killer, and secondly, she's wrong about Eve. Victor
figures out that, like in chess, Kevin has used his pawn. Kevin agrees
that he has done so. Lucy and Kevin agree that she won't disparage Eve
so much, at least until after the wedding. Lucy says it will be the
best day of her life.

Back at the store, Eve sees that the video contains a picture of Lucy
draining the gas from the tank of her car. Eve now has the proof to
show everyone that Lucy is the viper that she always thought that she
was.
