This has to be short and sweet. I'm swamped at work...

At the cabin:

At the cabin, Lucy is alone, bored and stir crazy. When she steps
outside, she hears noises, calling her name. She warns herself that
one's not supposed to go out into the wilderness after noises, but she
does so anyway. She locates the old well, where Ellen has fallen.
Ellen thinks her ankle is broken, she's cold, and the water is rising.
Lucy tells her to hang on. Lucy goes back to the cabin for some rope.
When she returns, she throws the rope and Ellen ties it around her
waste. The rope breaks. The water continues to rise. Hypothermia is
setting in. Ellen tells Lucy she is going to drown if it goes much
higher. As Ellen starts to feel sleepy and finds it difficult to stay
awake, Lucy tells her to hang on. Lucy plays riddle games with her,
like ones she plays with Serena. Ellen plays along, but is fading fast.

At the firehouse:

Scotty and Serena return from their fishing trip in Canada. Karen is
there, and is surprised that they are home a week early. Serena is
tired and wants to be carried up to bed. She is upset because she
couldn't even manage to catch any fish. When Scott returns to the
living room after taking Serena up, Karen warns him that Serena appears
to be headed for a depression. She tells her dad that more is known
about kids and depression these days, and that Serena could go to
counselling. Scott wants to help her himself, and doesn't really like
the counselling idea. He is more interested in the technical aspects --
like when will she be ready for another operation?

Karen fills Scott in on the PC happenings of the last week. Julie has
been arrested for the General Homicide murders, because of the voice box
found at the Scanlons', but Karen doesn't think she did the awful
deeds. Karen also tells her dad that she and Joe are engaged. She
rhapsodizes about what a great guy Joe is. Scott just wants to make
sure she is happy. Serena appears at the top of the stairs, and wants to
know what's going on. Karen tells her that she and Joe are getting
married. Serena wants to know if it's for real, or if it'll be another
mishap like Lucy and Kevin's wedding. Karen asks Serena to walk down
the stairs, but Serena gets mad and upset, saying everyone talks to and
treats her like she's a baby. She's not a baby, she's seven years old!
She throws some of her stuffed toys down at Karen and Scott. Scott
races up the stairs to her (shaking the whole set!!) and holds her.
Serena says she hates being blind.

Sorry about the brevity...
