Gail visits the Firehouse. Serena shows off by sliding down the
firepole and using her cane. Gail is very proud of her and gives her a
great big hug.

Karen tells Lucy and Kevin that Victor's blood screen only shows slight
levels of hematin; therefore, they weren't giving Victor his medicine at
the mental hospital. Karen tells them he's improving and on a high carb
diet to improve his enzyme efficiency. Garcia comes up to them and
wants to know about their breaking Victor out of Concord. Kevin is
upset ö he was fine when he went in, but couldn't put two sentences
together when they took him out. Lucy tells Garcia that they messed
with his medication. Garcia wants to talk to Victor ö not to send him
back, only to ask a few questions. He wants to know if Victor learned
anything while he was inside. Karen says he is clear headed, but might
not be up to visitors. Kevin will go in first and evaluate Victor
before he will let Garcia see him.

Joe tells Courtenay that Neil's in remission. She is very happy ö if he
does not have a reoccurrence in the next five years, the survival rate
for children with his type of cancer is 78%. Courtenay cries tears of
joy. She hugs Joe and tells him that he is responsible for saving
Neil's life. She wants Joe to go with her to tell Neil the good news,
and he does.

Kevin and Lucy visit Victor. He is feeling better and glad to see
them. Kevin wants to know if he remembers anything. Garcia knocks on
the door; Kevin tries to get rid of him, but Victor wants to talk to
him. Garcia wants to know if he found out anything about Lark and her
mother. Victor talks about a "lark" who nested in his backyard but a
duck or goose chased it away. When questioned about Greg Cooper, he
says Cooper was a baseball player. Garcia agrees with Kevin it wasn't
the right time to talk to Victor. Victor tells Lucy how much he missed
her.

Serena shows Gail her dance, and tells her that Scotty has been teaching
her other dances, like the twist. Scotty and Serena twist for Gail.
Gail tells them they should be in a contest. Serena goes to get some
water. While she's gone, Gail is pleased she is self sufficient, but
tells Scotty that Serena still needs him, and that he has to testify at
the trial so that they won't take him away from Serena. Serena brings
Scott a glass of water.

Garcia meets Eve in the hospital hallway and tells her that he has been
looking for her to speak with her. He tells her that he heard her alibi
is a lie; she denies it. He wants to know how long Ramsey and Baldwin
are going to hold out for her. He asks her where she was when Devlin
was killed. She tells him her statement is on trial. He tells her she
had better tell him the truth before someone else does.

Lucy and Kevin leave Victor's room while he gets some needles. Kevin
wonders if Victor is better off here ö not just wishful thinking on his
part.  Lucy says he's better.  Kevin blames himself for what's happened;
Lucy tells him Victor wanted to do it. Kevin says that if anyone had
asked him a year ago if he would be close to his father he would have
said no, but he is getting used now to having him around. They go back
into Victor's room. Victor wants to know how he got there. Victor
remembers that she put him a dress ö putting him in touch with his
feminine side! They joke with him. He tells Lucy he is honoured to
have him as his daughter-in-law and tells Kevin that he has himself a
fine woman. Lucy and Kevin exchange "looks".

Joe and Courtenay find Neil; Courtenay gives him a big hug. Joe tells
him he's in remission. Neil thanks Joe and tells him he's the best
doctor in the world. Neil asks if he can go home, and Joe says yes.
Neil asks Courtenay how they can go home if his dad doesn't want him.
Courtenay tells him that his dad loves him, but has a lot of problems
that he has to concentrate on right now. Neil wants to know where they
will go. Joe tells Neil that he is coming to live at Casa Scanlon.

Gail tells Scotty he has to stop obstructing justice as it might
jeopardize his relationship with Serena. Scott tells her he's not going
to brand Eve a killer just to get Lee's client off. Gail tells him not
to turn this into a battle between Lee and him and to concentrate on
Serena. Scott tells him Serena has been his priority since the day she
was born. Gail thinks it's funny that a few weeks ago he wouldn't speak
with Eve because of the accident and now he is willing to go to jail for
her. Scott says it might be a moot point, as Lee might not need him to
testify. Gail tells him he's being naive. He's going to figure it out
when the time comes ö Gail tells him that time is running out.

Kevin and Lucy leave Victor's room, and Kevin thanks her for pretending
that they're married because the truth would only confuse him right
now. Lucy tells him that she loved pretending to be his wife. It made
Victor feel good and her even better. Kevin smiles. Audrey comes up to
them and tells them that Katherine Bell is alive ö she showed up at
Helena Cassadine's trial. Apparently, Helena secretly nursed her back
to health. Audrey says they probably haven't heard the last of this [No
kidding. How many people has GH pronounced dead who have returned?]
Audrey is beeped and leaves. Lucy can't believe it ö Furball made her
get dressed up and do her hair and cry and say nice things at the
funeral and now she's not even dead. Kevin calls her on it ö she's
happy that Kat's alive because they were "best enemies". Lucy agrees.

Garcia joins them. He's checked out the tip that Chris and Eve lied,
but they're both sticking to their stories. There's not much he can do
unless somebody cracks. Garcia leaves and Kevin asks/tells her that
she's still harassing Eve. Lucy denies it that she overheard Eve and
Chris talking about lying about their alibi, and she had to go forward
with the information. Kevin tells her it's not about being a good
citizen, but her continued battle with Eve. He's upset, after all the
problems that the vendetta's caused, that she can't give it up. He
stomps off.

Gail leaves Scott's as Eve arrives at the firehouse. Gail gives her a
cold shoulder. Eve says she's there for an attorney's advice. She
wants to know what the police will do if she comes clean about having
lied about her alibi and her bracelet. He says she's not going to like
it. Scott says it could be obstruction of justice, conspiracy, and,
worse case, they come after her for the murder rather than Julie. That
scares her. Scott says they're on the edge; where he used to like to be
but not any longer (because of Serena). Eve understands. She tells him
to do what he has to. If he doesn't say anything, and the truth comes
out, or if he tells the truth, he could be disbarred and sent to jail.
Either way his goose is cooked.

Audrey tells Joe and Karen they've done a great job with Neil. Joe says
Dr. Hardy told him there would be days like this, but this is the first
time he's felt like this. Audrey leaves and Joe tells Karen how great
it was to tell him he was better. Karen is happy. Courtenay comes up
to them and thanks and hugs Karen. She says Neil is packing ö they've
decided to stay. Karen is surprised to learn that both Courtenay and
Neil will be staying with Joe.
