Daily Updates

Today's show opens with Chris & Eve entering the penthouse. They discuss whether or not Scott will perjure himself. Chris says that Scott's feelings for Eve will prevent him from telling the truth about their alibi. Eve tells Chris about the new developments between Scott & Lucy. Chris wonders if they'll let him and Eve share a cell.
At the courthouse, Frank tells Kevin that he knows Scott will tell the truth. Don't count on it, says Kevin. He and Lucy bump into each other. Scott has just taken the stand. Kevin tells Lucy he can't watch Scott's testimony, because it reminds him of finding them in bed together.
Meanwhile, at Casa de Scanlon, Courtney asks Joe if he has any plans. He tells her that he told Frank he'd go to the courthouse & find out what's going on. Frank can't watch the proceedings, since he may be called to testify. Courtney tells Joe that since John came to town, she's afraid for her and Neil to be alone. Joe says he'll stay.
Scott testifies that he saw Eve by the hospital elevator after her argument with Devlin. She had a black eye. He went to the lab to confront Devlin, but he was dead. He didn't report it, because he didn't want to get involved.
At the penthouse, Eve unpacked, & saw what was left of the shrine in her closet. Chris tells her he had the locks changed, & gives her the new keys. They discuss who put the shrine there. They decide it's probably Frank. Chris says that if Scott tells the truth, Eve could wind up in Julie's place. Maybe she should run. She tells him she's not running. They curl up on the couch together. Eve says it's nice to be home. Chris says it's good to have her home, she'd better enjoy it while she can.
Scott testifies that Eve told him she lost her bracelet fighting with Devlin. He took the bracelet so Eve wouldn't be implicated. He saw her just moments after her fight with Devlin, at the elevator. Chris was nowhere around. He also testifies that Eve told him her alibi was phony.
The DA cross-examines Scott. Scott admits that his deposition was false.
While Joe's been playing with Neil, Courtney's been making some calls. It seems that John's family is very old-world proper. Their grandchild is very important to them. Without Neil, John won't receive his share of the family inheritance.
Scott calls Eve, & tells her that he told the truth on the stand. He had to do it, for Serena. They're both upset, but she tells him she understands. Frank overhears, & thanks Scott for telling the truth.
Chris takes Eve into his arms, & they hug. They know it looks bad.
Lucy testifies that she knew that Scott took Eve's bracelet, & that she overheard Chris & Eve say that their alibis were fake. All that's left is Lee's closing argument.
Courtney & Joe make small talk. Joe tells her he'll do his part to help Neil. "You already did, about 8 years ago," says Courtney. Joe asks what she means. She tells him that John knows Neil isn't his son. Joe asks who Neil's father is. Courtney tells Joe that he's Neil's father!!!!
