Lucy & Ellen leave the hospital lecture. Lucy tells Ellen she can't understand why Kevin would ask her to meet him at the hospital, & then not show up. Meanwhile, Kevin & Eve are having a nice romanitic dinner, courtesy of Victor. Victor calls, not realizing that Kevin's with Eve instead of Lucy. He tells Kevin to take the phone off the hook. Kevin thinks that's a good idea. Victor tells Mary that Kevin & Lucy will walk down the aisle before the year is out. Lucy tries to phone Kevin. Of course, the line is busy. She & Ellen decide to have a "girl's night."
Lark fixes a welcome home dinner for Julie. Detective "call me Alex" Garcia pays a visit to the ex-jailbird. He wants to make sure there are no hard feelings. He remembers from when she was in jail that she liked almond roca, so he brought her some. Julie says she knows that he was just doing his job. She invites him to stay for dinner. Frank is not pleased.
Lucy tells Ellen that she can't decide between Scott & Kevin. She loves them both. Ellen tells her to wait awhile before trying to choose between the two.
Victor prepares creme brulee for Mary. He tells her he hopes "Monk" & Lucy are having a nice time.
Well, Kevin & Eve ARE having a nice time - until Eve looks over Kevin's list of clues concerning the GH murders. Chris is the #1 suspect on Kevin's list. They start to argue, but are interrupted by a strolling guitarist Victor has hired. It's impossible to argue over the loud music, so they decide to sit back & enjoy it.
At dinner, Garcia mentions that it was a year ago that Greg Cooper kidnapped Julie. This makes Julie very uncomfortable. Then, he brings up the murders, which makes Julie even more uncomfortable. Alex decides he'd better leave, before he ends up with both feet in his mouth.
Victor has hired a polka accordionist to entertain Mary.
Greg Cooper calls Julie. He's sorry he can't be with her on their anniversary.
Mary tells Victor she wants him in her life. She invites him to spend the night. Will he say yes?
Eve & Kevin kiss. Eve says, "I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner."(Editorial comment: Frankly, I wish it had never happened at all) There's a knock at the door. It's Lucy, who leaves in tears when she sees Eve.
